Poser library menu cleanup

My poser menu is so full of empty items, and it is really driving me crazy trying to fiind my way in it. After I have moved subitems to other folders, the empty main folder still sits there, with a (0) for content. How can I get rid of those items, so that the library menu becomes navigable again?

Are you using Poser or DAZ Studio?
It is not a good idea to move items once installed inside the Runtime folder, it can lead to problems. If you have empty folders that are no longer needed, you would need to remove them using Windows Explorer. Do the items that you moved still work OK?
I've been using Windows Explorer for years to reorganize my Poser runtimes and never had any problems unless the Geometry and/or Texture files are moved. If you move or delete while Poser is still open, you'll have to refresh the library to see the updates. It's better to just close Poser and reopen.
I have learned over the years that it is better to have separate runtimes. Everything on one runtime is a major pain. Empty library folders can be deleted and items within it can be moved around. Be careful deleting anything else. Library files point to other files within the runtime or sometimes outside of it if there are other runtimes. Don't delete geometery or texture files unless you want to get rid of something in the library. I'd only do that after checking the library file(s) (i.e., CR2, etc.) to see what it points to. Later on you might have a Poser file that uses that item and you will get an error message.
