Iray G2F/G2M conversion oddity - superglossy lips?

Came across something odd tonight. I just got Darius 6 in one of the recent sales, and I set up a test scene with D6 and V6 with the Nabila character. All went well, converted everything to Iray materials OK, then I tried a render. Darius looked good, but Nabila came out with super-glossy lips, although I'd used the no-makeup settings.

I checked the Surfaces tab on both figures, and noticed that all the Darius skin surfaces had the Specular map applied to the Glossy Color parameter, but on Nabila it was on the Glossy Layered Weight. Should this be happening? Is there a difference in the way the G2F and G2M Iray Optimised MATs work?

And now that I see the two figures side-by-side, the rest of Nabila's skin is a little bit on the high specular side, as well.

If you're talking about the Iray skin converters (i.,e. Iray Optimized Genesis 2 Male/Female MAT.duf), I don't believe they move maps between channels. You might load another G2F/M character, reapply the standard textures, and look to see where they have the maps plugged in.

I didn't do an exact file compare, but in browsing through the Lips channel for both G2M and G2F they appear identical -- though they really shouldn't as most men don't wear lipstick. So I bet the differences are in the base textures.

That's probably it, although I've just checked the skin materials before converting to Iray. They're both AoA SSS, but Darius has the specular map applied to Specular Color and Specular 2 Color, while Nabila has it applied just to the Specular Strength.

Odd... I think I'll try this same pair-up with lighter skins, see if I can get a pattern to emerge.
