Hotkey Problems

I have a new system, and a new install of Studo. I'm encountering something I've never seen before, in years of working with it...
I like to use my keyboard to go through my content libraries. I've never had trouble with it before.
Now when I type letters, it's making my display window move. There are hotkeys associated with the viewport. Like if I'm searching for some hair made by outoftouch, as soon as I type "o" it moves the viewport.
I don't mind some hotkeys (like CTRL-R for render) but these are really jarring. Can this be turned off?
Thanks in advance!

Shift K will turn it off, or back on again - Edit>View>Keyboard Navigation. If you clear the shortcut for the command in Window>Workspace>Customise you will not accidentally restart it.
Thank you!
