DAZ 4.8 Suddenly Running Slow - SOLVED

mwokeemwokee Posts: 1,275

If I bring up a default figure (any figure) it will appear pixelated and slowly fill in. If I do ANY kind of a change, the figure turns white and eventually pixelates and fills in again.

The turning white is a problem, if I want to adjust eyes, move fingers, adjust props, etc., I can't see the change because it's just a default block of an object and I don't see the changes until after it slowly fills in the pixels again.

DAZ is also running at like 97% of the CPU even when it's in an idle state, no rendering/editing.

I am hoping I got into some kind of viewing mode that can be changed back to a more suitable working environment.

Thanks for any help.

Did you perhaps change the viewport from something like "texture shaded" to "Nvidia Iray"?  If so, just change it back.  Click the icon circled in the screenshot, then from the context menu select whatever your original viewport mode was.
