Is there a way to zero or remove material on a figure with just 1 or 2 clicks?
The same way a pose or a shape can be zeroed?

- Create > New Primitive > Sphere (or anything else).
- Surfaces Tab > be sure that Iray Uber (MDL) is the current Sphere shader. Select the Sphere's Surface.
- File > Save as > Shader Preset.
- In the Shader Preset Save Options window, tick "Default" in yellow so that the whole list is selected.
- Save that Shader in your Library (usually the Shader Presets folder) as "!Reset Iray.duf" (For example).
- Now select a Genesis (or any object) and all surfaces in the Surfaces Tab. Click on your "!Reset Iray" Shader Preset from the Content Library.
Done, material reset : Textures are gone, shader is Iray Uber Base.
Hansolocambo: Very clever... Thanks
I actually didn't know how to do this and I couldn't find a default shader coming with Daz, to do what you needed (maybe I missed it). So I'm glad you asked this question as it gave me the opportunity work on a solution.
How to reset Iray to default on a selection ? is a question I've asked myself several times.
So thanks too ;)
