Video effect

Hi all,

Does anybody know of a way to get a video (mpeg4 or avi etc) onto a primitive object like a plane without using green screen?

I'd like to have a TV playing in the background for a scene but I want to move the camera. Fixing that with a green screen would be a nighmare.

Any ideas? I'm sure I've seen somebody talking about this before but I didn't pay enough attention at the time.

It would be sooo coool.
