Dry mud desert set with iray?

for some reason everything renders black in iray as if there is no lights

yes i have the environment on...ive tried every environment mode along with finite and infinate/ draw dome etc etc

ive even placed point lights directly on the ground and set all the light perameters to 1000000 but still everything is just black

The skydome is blocking the light.  First try it without the dome.
