If I use pretty much any OOT hair asset, Iray rendering will crash to desktop. If it turns out this is your issue, the workaround is to remove any maps on the Transmitted Color property in surfaces for any of the shaders in your scene.
Messes up in what way? If it's a crash then ArgleSW is correct.
Image maps in the Transmitted Color channel have never worked. The difference is that they used to be ignored. Now they cause Daz Studio to crash.
