Material Presets Not Loading

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

T purchased the Bugga Boo Winter Outfit. All load fine but the materials won't. Keep getting an error. I'm new to Daz and not sure what I need to do to get the material to load.

     see log file for more detail. I have no idea of what the log file is or where to find it.

    Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File, the relevant message will be at the end if you do it just after getting the pop-up. Do you have the item you wish to chnage selected? Are you using it on the figure it was made for, not AutoFitted to another?

    I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I had to both the scene  and surface panes opened. I was just opening the scene pane. Thank you so much for your help. I feel silly but happy.
