Clothing turns off Victoria limb visiblilty

Hello,

I just installed Sexy Sorceress for Genesis 3 and noticed a strange effect. When I turn off visiblity for the boots, I found that Victoria's shins and feet are not visible. Likewise, Victoria's forearam are also not visible underneath the gloves. Apparently, the outfit makes parts of Vicky invisible.

I checked the shins for visibility under Victoria7 in the Scene tab, and they are still turned on. I also checked Victoria's materials and found that there was nothing different, no transparency applied to the skin of the shins. I also found that when I deleted the boots, the shins reappeared.

I would like to make part of the boots transparent, and have Vicky's shins show up underneath. Is there a way to do this and make Vicky's shins, etc visible again?

Thank you, Brian Warren

I am also interested in how to fix this. Because I have set items to autohide faces when fit, and then realized I wanted to change which faces were hidden.

Clothes have been able to hide base geometry since Genesis 1. It's just not common. if you do unhide the geometry I bet the clothes will need morphs to pull them away from the base mesh.

But I could not find a method to remove the auto-hidden faces feature. Only a method to add faces to be hidden.

  • Not my way - I had to ask, and then I wasn't convinced it was working. Since the person I asked should certainly know the right method I tried adding the unfit and refit step.
