Lol yes, and if they wait to long, I'll have no more nails to bite!
One more thing I wanted to say, but I really don't know where could be the best place..
So I'm posting it here : during the first seconds of rendering (or in Iray preview mode) the drops will render black. This is normal, no need to panick, you have to wait for refraction to be calculated for the refractive effects (refraction with abbe or pure refraction) to begin and make the drips and drops transparent. It will take a few more seconds than the rest, but the first time you see it, it may be surprising.
Yes...I see this when rendering eyes...they are black until the render kicks in.

That's exactly it, it will be black or white or grey (depending on the base color) until the render "kicks in".
Just one note, though - I think it should explicitly say somewhere on the product page that it is Iray only, just to prevent nasty surprises to folks who haven't read this thread.

Thanks a lot! In the description text, I wrote it was for Iray at the first and last line of the description, but you are right, I never said it was Iray "only". I did not thought it might be confusing, and I'll see what I can do for that.
Ooh, nice! Just trying to decide whether to get just the drips or the bundle. <shakes bank card, a few more pennies fall to the floor>
Thanks! Well the wet and tanned is interesting only in three cases of figure : 1. you need wetness (to put below drips for instance) and you don't know how to do it, 2. you need wetness, you perfectly know how to do it, but you want to gain time on the whole maps transfert and levels management, finally, 3. if you need tan.
If not in case 1, 2 or 3, no need for it. So simple!
The product seems to work very well with V7 using auto convert. For me auto convert will only convert one item at a time so I have just rendered with the head item. Attached is a quick render with dripping drops mono. I can see I will be spending many hours experimenting with this .
Dripped into my cart as well. Need to wait to pay on the CC before checking out so hopefully it remains on sale for a little while....
In general it does, and I don't have info of how it is going to be this year, but last year, my product was on sale 2 or 3 times during the month. But I have no idea this year.

I think it can work pretty well on Genesis3, the issues you may have will probably be on the strongly bending articulations, such as shoulders, knees, thighs.. For the Genesis 2 version, I had to add JCMs morphings all drips and all drops so that they stay on the skin level when bending these parts. Otherwise they tend to offset a bit inside or outside.
For the shaders itself, now you have plenty of various shaders for the drips (take care, some of them are placed as skin shaders in the smart content, I'm gonna ask this to be corrected). Then you have a pdf manual explaining how to make them more or less visible, refractive, shiny, with the associated smart scripts which are included in the product. This asks a bit of adjustments regarding your light set and the result you expect, but you have all the tools :)

I think it should be out very soon...
bumpity bump...me too.
Just seen this in the shop - http://www.daz3d.com/drips-and-drops-for-genesis-2-female-s - and it's going straight to my cart without touching the sides!

It's released!!!! Feel free to share any renders, any feedback, ask any question here!

Instant buy for G3F, not interested for G2
Understood! You're not the first one who is mentionning a G3F product. I'll think about that!
Heh, I'm the opposite! I actually need these specifically for Genesis 2, so... Pruchasing, today. :)
ROFL... My brain is beginning to heat too much..
Great, let me know if you have questions, I'll be online until 10 PM Paris Time.

Remember, in case of any questions, I come here everyday, several times per day. Of course all renders are welcome too!
That didn't take long to wander into my cart. Will play with it tonight since during the day I have to do things to earn money to buy this stuff...
Ahahah! Excellent, very funny! Well during the day, I have to do things to create this kind of stuff ! We are not very different !

Amusingly, I just had to render a sweaty guy for my webcomic. I managed, but this would have been better. Heh.
