Ghost Keyframes?
Why do they happen? I have a camera that moves slightly even though there are no keyframes. I'll set a starter position, copy it and paste it later in the timeline, and then set up a move. But for some reason there is always a bit of wobble at the start of the shot when the camera should be still. I use Keymate, but check the timeline where sometimes stray keyframes show up. It's one of my pet peeves of Daz.

This happens because the animation fits curves through the keyframes.
The easiest way to get a camera stay in a fixed location until some keyframe and then start moving is to double keyframe it. Create a keyframe on frame ahead of the keyframe where you want it to start moving at the same location.
if you use keymate you can tell the keyframes to remain constant and not apply curves. I don't have keymate on this computer, but if you select the keys and look around the keymate window you might see what I am talking about.
Not sure if you can do this with stock studio timeline.
Also be sure to set your viewing mode to TRSV or the mode that shows ALL types of keyframes. The default viewing mode only shows you transform and rotation I think. May not be an issue right now, but one day that may be helpful.
Thanks. I was aware of some curves or auto applicationi of what amounts to easy-ease in After Effects. It would be great to find a way to control or turn this off. I'll snoop around for that TRSV mode.
im home now, going to hunt it down, forgot about that
OK here it is, no screenshot. There is a dropdown, third button from the right of the keymate menu. by default it is TR. Translation and rotation. Click dropdown, change setting. Again this isn't needed all the time, but if you animate the morphs instead of just movement this is helpful.
Direct to your issue, the button the far right, is the curves control. With the Keys selected you want to change, click this button, pick what makes sense(constant maybe). have a nice day :)
Thanks, this helped a lot...for instance in revealing how focal length on a camera is changing.
Glad I could help. I have found soemtimes keymate gets weird and loses an item from the list. So soemtimes have to restart daz for that item to come back.Sometimes switching from the different modes helps, sometimes it randomly comes back. but if an item randomly goes poof it's not gone forever.

I've had the same thing....particularly when I have a figure in a group folder. I'll get the folder, but nothing inside it.
sometimes reorganizing may expose it again. It's usually not a big deal for me, but certainly happens on occasion.
