VirtualBox on Linux host with Windows 7 -- opengl version 1.1 error

I don't know how much this affects others, but I struggled for 24 hours on this and finally found the problem area.  I am running Ubuntu 14.04 with a Windows 7 Ultimate guest. 

After installing/upgrading to Oracle VirtualBox 5, along with the guest additions 5.02, I found that DAZ studio would not run.  It kept giving me the error about OpenGl not being 1.3 or better.  I'm sure you all know the error. 

The solution, for me, was to downgrade to Oracle VirtualBox 4.3 and Guest Additions 4.3 (or whatever the most recent '4' family is).  This allowed Daz Studio to start.  The interface is buggy and twitchy, but I have a feeling that these issues are a matter of tweaking.
