2k plus finding the Alps for Daz studio, plus probs in general

HI,

 

I am on a 70 min aprox. long project. It is to be projected on a 8,80m by 4m screen -16:9-. Apparently rendering needs to be on a minimum of 2K. I am rendering on Quad, but it takes forever. I have changed background and lighting to shadow mapping. And it still takes a long time. Are there any plug ins- pre setups which help for this and which are time-saving?

 

That aside, I need to emulate the Alps. I found Valle Alpina, for Carrara, but every time I try to open it it gets jammed -any solutions? OR alternatives for DAZ studio which are visually stunning enough?

 

Also, if there are poses -lets say 01, 02, 03, 04- in series, which I need to repeat time and time again, is there anyway of saving them?
