Genesis 2 Eyelashes

Why is there such a big gap between the lower eyelashes and the eye, it looks horrible.

Is there a way to fix this, is there a setting somewhere?

    What gap are you seeing?  The lashes are on the rim of the eyelid as they should be.

    So what you are saying is that you get a different result compared to the given examples above ?
