You can get visible light rays by using a volumetric shader... There's the uberVolume in DS Advanced/Pro, you can also create some via the Shader Mixer (in DS Advanced/Pro) and there's this product in the store that makes it even more easy: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/atmospheric-effects-cameras-for-daz-studio
