I am having problems with this hair texture set:
https://www.daz3d.com/fsl-toon-hair-shaders-iray
I am using 2 hairs show:
1. Terran Hair for G8Male
https://www.daz3d.com/terran-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-male-s
2. Wild Wind Hair for G8Female:

Upon rendering them I get these tiny white dots thru out the hairs.
Does anyone know of a reason this happens?
I am just using Daz's default light..no extra lighting.
I really love the colors provided in this texture set, I just dont understand why all the white dots. :(
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Looks like it's the Top Coat settings that are causing it, could be an Iray update changing something since the shaders was released.
Try playing with the settings, like changing the Top Coat color, lowering the Top Coat Weight value, or increasing Top Coat Roughness,
or a mix of them all, whatever looks best. See video here:

Taoz! Thank you so much for this information! I have been trying so many different lights with no success. This is a life saver and works! Thank you :)
You're welcome! With such issues it's usually the shader settings rather than the lighting that is causing it, especially if it doesn't help to change the lighting. Can also be Render Settings sometimes.
Sometimes, when I find artifacts on hair I use a workaround I learned from Jay Versluis. Set the cutout opacity of the hair to 0.99. Cheers.
Thank you both for your help. It is greately appreciated :)
