I have this in my cart, but before I buy, can anyone tell me if the drop tanks can be hidden?

    I just did a quick check and it appears the drop tanks are part of the bottom of the wing, so unfortunately, they cannot be hidden without losing the bottom of the wing as well.  I checked in parts, and also textures. No luck.

    The only way I can get rid of the drop tanks is by deleting or hiding the polygons that make up the tank by using the Geometry Editing tool. The textures are not affected fortunately. If one was to portray the tanks after having just been dropped then I would have to load up the plane and then delete all of the polygons that make up the plane except for the tank. Then duplicate it. This way I can move the tanks in any direction. Hope this helps.
