`"+" doesnt work, "AND" either.

How to search the forum for more than one word?

"Torsion Spreader" in my case.

Forum search is very weak. It's one of the things that I hope they'll fix if they ever do an upgrade.

Better use Google and include "daz" in your search text.

  • Google with 'site:daz3d.com "daz 3d forums" [rest of query]'

Yes, was going to say pretty much this.

Yeah, whenever I have a question, I just go to google and type "daz 3d" and then I ask my question, I get lots of search results that way but I never get anything if I search in the forum itself.

Simple, just google: Daz forums: "Your search words here" As the forum's search function needs work!

    All of the above.

I did a forum search early in my time on the forums and the word came up with scads of finds, repeats of the finds, and repeats of the repeats, ad infintum...

So frustrating. Then I found a thread like this one, and I tried it. Found help. And not from a bottle of pills for my headache.

Still, approach Google with a sense of humor, I still get weird finds that have nothing to do with my search but will cost me a lot of money.

For me, this works best. Just substitue the search terms as needed. The search phrase must be enclosed in double quotes with spaces between words as you did in your post. It should look like this in your browser window

    site: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/ "Torsion Spreader"

And this is what I see in Chrome . . .  hope it helps you.

    Thanks.

Yes, this is what I usually did. I just thought I am too dumb to use the search function.

I had no idea what this is and that I need this

but since I also have heard garage tilt door springs that have sprung off like mine can kill people trying to fix them I still am not going to get one and try to fix mine

I remember when it fell off and am glad my car was far away enough not to get crushed or me for that matter

Are you sure this is the thread you meant to post this in?

well turns out the torsion spreader OP was looking for is not the one I need as they have replied to the thread on Casual's script

I thought it was an oddly specific thing to be looking for a 3D model of blush
