Fbx Export moves props to wrong location

I am not sure if I am exporting incorrectly, but when I export my figure and props in Daz then import them into Unity, the props are not centered properly.

The prop's mesh is centered on the character's origin and the props origin is in the characters hand. Is there a way for me to get the prop centered in the characters hand upon export?

  • Collada works real well but I do not know if it can be imported to Unity as I am not a Unity user.
