How can I do black or white skin for genesis 3 in Daz studio for iray?

I was thinking of making some black or white skinned characters for genesis 3.  

Here is the backstory.  I was thinking of an alien humanoid species yesterday.  I was already thinking of this species for years but an idea came to me yesterday. The species is divided into two races.  I thought of what makes them different.  Skin colour!  One of them are pale white while the other are dark black.  They are blue blooded so it will be a blueish white and blueish black.

I think I have some merchants resources for Genesis 3 female which can be a start.  I also have Adobe Photoshop.   I probably need to do iray shaders and also 3delight ones if I want to sell them.

Just FYI color alone wouldn't make them different "races". Race is a really terrible informal word that is misused. It sounds like you are doing sci-fi so if they are different races you going to want to make sure there is some science to it. Like more than a color difference...But if one is red-blooded and another blue-blooded that would qualify as different indeed.

But yeah you can either photoshop skins to whatever color you want.

EDIT: But I realize you want to SELL shaders, I for some reason though you wanted to buy shaders. If you want to sell shaders you could just pick one or the other depending on your skills and interests. It might be hard to get them both looking close and would add a fair amount of time. If it were me I would start with one so you make it neato.

okay so there has to be more difference than skin colour?  hmmm things to think about it.  Maybe "race" was the wrong word for it.   How about have one of the groups be more of a nomatic hunting group but the others are more of a stationary farming group?   I am still thinking over this right now.

yeah there should be other physiological differences to make them different races. Many species have different colors but it wouldnt' qualify as a new "race". If you want them to be compatible and still able to breed together and make healthy babies then they shouldn't be too different. But it's sci fi so whatever makes you happy :)

But a good way to think of it is how many fantasy worlds and games define races. Dwarves, Elfs, Humans. Three races, but each race has tons of variations. Different colors but same race. So just depends on what you want.

I think if you want to make them black they probably would not be truly black, like a pinch of blue or grey. And think about the skin so it can show lighting well.(maybe a bit oily to bounce light nicely)

Sorry for bringing this back up.   I see Genesis 3 male is released so thinking of starting this project again.   I am rereading what I posted to see where I want to go from here.   The dark skin people in my story are called Antins originally but I might change their name to Antians.   I am thinking of calling the pale ones wraiths.  Or would that be too close to ringwraith?    I am still trying to develop them.  

I do not want Antians to be all good and the Wraith are all bad or vice versa.  Generally speaking the Antians are like farmers but the Wraith are hunters.  I am thinking that the Wraith are matriarch based but the Antains are sort of but tend to do genetic manipulation to create hermaphrodite people who decide their true gender at 13 or so. 

Still mulling it over.

Wraith has existed longer than the usage in LotR
