Possible reasons for compatible products not showing up in G8.1

I am having an issue with a product that says it is compatible for G8 and G8.1 not showing up in the parameters or shaping tab for any G8.1 character. I have posted about it with pictures in several FB groups and contacted the product creator.

I did recently reset my computer to factory settings and had to re-install all daz products via DIM. Can anyone think of anyreason why a product is not showing up as an option for 8.1 or any ideas of things I can try to fix this?

    What version of DS are you using? for 8.0 shapes to show up on 8.1 you have to be using DSv4.15 or higher.
