in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I`ve had to delete DS4.8 nd am now trying to reinstall it manually. It srarts installing but then doesm`t go anywhere. It stays with "installing" for over an hour at which time I get the message and stop it. The installer is no better. help, please.

    It is a better idea to let the new installer uninstall the previous version.   How did you uninstall it?   What Operating System are you using?

    Did you download the latest installer from the site here, from your Product Library?   There is a manula install (EXE) and the Install Manager ready file.   Using DIM is the best way to do it.

    Yes. DIM didn`t seem to work so  i tried manual

    If you are on a Windows system and trying to install to the Program Files folders you may need to run the installer or DIM as administrator.
