Agreed, Eclipse looks amazing! Is it stand alone or does it need the pagan ruins one?

    I love this too :)

Stunning to say the least. Very beautiful renders and I think there's a kind of grand or epic scope to the look of the product.

  • FlipmodeFlipmode Posts: 905

    Thanks guys!
"grand or epic scope" sounds lovely, I`ll take that ;)

It`s standalone FSMCD, no other set needed.

Thank you, sold! Interesting there is a Poser render also.

How is it interesting there is a Poser render? ;) I usually try to show at least one render of each version.

Anyway, Eclipse released, I hope you guys will have some fun with it.

Do you have a clay render? I'm finding it quite tricky to see what is included in the model from the renders with the sky box.

lol, I work hard to get a smooth, invisible transition, and you ask me to make it visible. ;) But of course you are right.
I`ve just done two quick renders, no attention to lighting or anything, hope they suffice.

Thank you, that's useful - the vegetation looks convincing, I should think the set will work as a campsite with a bit of tweaking.

  • FlipmodeFlipmode Posts: 905

The vegetation is not super-dense, but I think it works. Campsite ... yes, that`s something that popped into my mind as well while working on it. ;)

I love the background on this one, here is my first render with it.  (attaching since I can't figure out how to get it to link to my gallery image correctly)

    Hi guys :)
A new set is coming soon, Easy Environments goes SciFi with "ExoPlanet I".
I know it`s a departure from the more realistic sets, but I hope you`ll still like it!
As usual it supports Iray, 3Delight and Poser.
Both the "normal" and the "red" version are included.

I picked up the other two sets at rendo this morning. Nicely done.

Thanks Laurie, glad you like it! Ye, the "Jupiter" side of the set is likely it`s best side, it certainly had some kind of gravitational pull on the camera when i did the preview renders. ;)

    Thanks Serene, I noticed ;)

Yeah, I just might have to round out with all three too ;)

I actually like the less realistic stuff just as much if not more.  I really like the use of exotic and fantasy skies so this will be a must have.

Thanks Ice, glad to hear it since I`ll probably do more of it. :)

Is it possible to make the moons/planets smaller? (Cause they would very soon crash into each other were they really so near, to be stable they need to be farther away or smaller in real world, but I agree, they look good so huge).)

I am sorry, no. They are part of the skysphere/hdr image.
They kinda scale a bit depending on the camera width, but that`s not really what you are after, it will still look fictional.
You are the second person to ask about this today though ... if I get to make another one I`ll try to take that feedback into account.
