Unable to remove unused textures from "Surface Tab" dropdown menus

Howdy,

I have been organizing and simplifying my workflow but I have run into a problem. For each of my characters I have a folder with the customized that I want to use on those models. However, when I use the dropdown menus in the Surfaces Tab, I can still see ALL of the textures which were originally associated with the model. For some of my models, this is a huge list that I have to scroll through to find the correct textures and it is becoming an annoyance.

I have tried the "Purge Memory" script, as well as a third-party script that had been said to do what I am trying to do. Unfortunately, nothing has worked. I tried removing all textures/maps, saving the file, closing Daz, and reopening the file. The textures are still there. I know this might be a small issue, but I would really like to remove all the unnecessary clutter from my finished models and characters.

If anyone has some information I would be very appreciative.

"Textures" that nice long list of all the images in use for the item selected. To make quick changes, try making mat files. File > Save As > Material Presets ...

Or, select "browse" and grab it from the folder it resides ....

IF perchance you are talking about the "Materials" drop down menu ... that long list which may contain references to unused materials ... those are best cleaned up in the modeler in which you were making the models. If it is Hexagon, the material and Shading Domains names MUST match. Export/Import in a fresh opening of Hexagon/clean up and export/ check ... maybe repeat the "wash" ...

If neither of the above, I would suggest posting some pics of what you are meaning.
