Is there a good sawed off double barrel shotgun for G8M and G8F?

I'm looking for a good sawed off double barrel shotgun for G8M and G8F. Are there any good models out there?

Search for "shotgun" at renderosity brings up a lot more.

A 3WC mentioned this one works well and has the added detail of breach loading. It does seem to be missing the second trigger though.

  • There are shotguns that have a single trigger that activates right and then left barrels. Regards, Richard.

I appreciate the info. We learn something new everyday. I've only had the opportunity to use the more standard dual trigger variety. SO it is an auto switch,  left then right,  then reset when you open the breach?

  • Yep, that's it. I have not taken one apart, but I imagine it's two releases on the trigger at different angles of trigger rotation. Regards, Richard.

When I was in the UK, the "over and under" configuration (upper and lower barrels, not side by side) with a single trigger seemed to be dominant type. These were mostly sidelock guns made by companies such as Webley or Purdey and used for waterfowl or skeet.

Where I am now there is conscription and most adults regardless of gender are able to use a military rifle. Shotguns are not common here, though they will probably come back if every army starts adopting lightweight drones and they need to start teaching the army to skeet shoot. We sometimes joke that it's not going to be long before the "rocket and shotgun" loadout of old 1990s video games such as Quake becomes military standard :-)

edit Also I don't like this place and we're leaving just as soon as a particular contract ends.

    edit Fixed terriible typing.

Who knew all that skeet shooting practice in my teens may payoff in the coming apocalypse,  taking out drones. Where is our world going?  Stay safe.
