Request for Mil Dragon .dmc File -- Please!

Hello, friendly gurus!
As my subject title says, I need a .dmc file for a mil dragon.  In my video, my dragon is highly intelligent, powerful, but extremely and inherently evil.  Think of Tolkien's Smaug on a really bad day.  I know how to use Daz 3D's Mimic Lite, but has anyone ever created a .dmc file for the mil dragon?  Please help me!

    Hello again gracious gurus!
I did a lot of research and was able to get mixed results by taking the MilDog phoneme, copy it and change its phoneme labels to match the MilDragon.  But I think I may be able to refine it even more if anyone can tell what a particular phoneme label means.  For example:

    phonemedef 0
    Hue    0.000000
        ChannelDef
            head:1
            MouthSpeak
            0.300000
        ChannelDef
            head:1
            Mouth A
            0.050000

What sound does the "phonemedef 0" label represent in this case? Is there a table somewhere that lists what sound each label means?

This where I'm at so far.  Again, any advice would be graciously accepted!

  • Thats pretty good and actually how I make many dmc files myself if they crash Mimic pro as many Poser figures do.

I do think the the default dmc works on dragon 3 though if I recall.

the phoneme channels use the head morphs so for instance mouth speak could be used for many phonemes where the mouth is open at different strengths.

Thanks for your quick answer, your compliment, and your advice!  The default dmc doesn't work.  I'd already checked it before and again before posting today just to make sure.  The dragon I am using has no mouth speak morph, either.

  • ah thats why I do recall there is a mimic ready pose injection for the Mil dragon, possibly in the paid set, certainly dragon 3 can talk and some of the others I have

are the paid ones, bundles and single, the LE one which was free may not have had the mimic morphs

oddly enough it says it has

    I shall investigate my files

yes has visemes but no mouth speak

A,F,M,O, U,Ch Sh and smile snarl etc, one could use those instead but I shall see what works

it was once free in a starter bundle but now if your were in the Platinum club it would be better to buy the full one as same price $1.99

I see you are not, it pays to join even if for a month to grab a lot of those things under $2 each, there is heaps of older stuff that is very well made and cheap to be had

  • well I tested and the default worked except his mouth was locked open

though  that might be something amis with my file, I have a few odd things as tried some morph targets on him once being the LE one and expendable cheeky I may have saved over

I may need to redownload him,  it should be fixable though not sure what is happening for you

  • OK try this if your mouth is open using the Mimic exported pz2 file (or lipsync) in DAZ studio (or Poser)

select the jaw and use rotate tool to close select tongue and rotate it back into place,

it then should talk reasonably well, is missing some channels
