G3 Female Genitalia - Can't Spot Render

I have DAZ 4.8 on a brand new Win 10 PC fairly well-stocked with a GeForce 970, an i7 Processsor, and 16GB RAM. Running Daz on an SSD with the actual content on a separate SATA drive. All week I've been able to Spot Render characters (All G3 females so far) with no trouble. Female Genitalia loading fine and working when I switch skins from Victoria 7 Mat to Summer, to Adaline to base G3 Female, etc.

All the sudden today, I can't spot render anything where the genitalia is part of the selection. I just get the grey patchwork blocks. If I change the view of the scene so the gens are not part of the picture, it renders fine.

What would cause Daz to suddenly not want to spot render some things and not others? The only thing I've changed is that I bought the i3 100 Expressions for V7 from Daz and installed them using the DIM.

Assuming that the area is indeed inside the aspect frame of rendering space; check over on the Parameters Tab ... there's an option to show/hide items during rendering. It may have been turned off.

Well if you're sure of the changes you've made, uninstall it; it will be easy enough to reinstall presuming you save downloads.

I can't see it being the reason, though. patience55's seems more lilely:)

Do a quick normal render; does everything appear?

If yes, then it should in the spot render.

If no for some reason, then let us know.

BTW, unless you have one of the very new SSDs that use the new interfaces, SSDs use the SATA interface. The newer ones, on the boards that take DDR4 memory (as an example) are far more expensive. Although there are other ways to get the newer interface-type SSDs (M.2).

Call it a mechanical hard drive (or old style might work). SSDs have no moving parts, the older syle mechanical ones do; one of the reasons (and the main one) why they are faster.
