I would be inclined to agree, but considering the nature of the character, it's refreshing to see this product allowing her a nice option for green or pale skin. Especially the latter!
I am not goiung into the names discussion here, but as far as the content itself is concerned, I will quote the text from the product:
"But wait, you say you already have Iray materials for your Arabella 7 Character? Not quite like these you don't. These material settings have been designed to blend seamlessly with any other IG Iray Essentials character or materials (or just about any other character that has been auto-converted to Iray) while giving you the highest quality results.
This set brings you updated materials for Arabella 7. Also included are Iray presets for her different eye colors and their various make-up options, including separate presets for the lip materials only. Also included are new material presets to turn Arabella 7 into a pale skinned Undead or Vampire character (the Queen of the Night) and a green skinned Witch (or Alien beauty) Character. Each of these new characters are also easily useable with and of the Arabella 7 make-ups or lips color options. BONUS: Includes material presets for the High Definition version of Arabella 7."
So you basically get different settings to play with if the character settings that come with Arabella 7 are not to your taste.

Words like essential, premium, etc are meaningless marketing speak.
Because "IG Iray Essentials" is Inaneglory's brand name ... as easy as that.
It's like another vendor's "Touchable" hair textures ...
In this case I think the meaning of essential is more the one that includes " a little black dress is an essential in a woman's wardrobe".
This 100%.
Besides, even a casual scan of the various threads about skin shaders would reveal that everyone has a different perception of what a "good", "realistic", or "attractive" skin looks like.
+1
And yeh to those that said the PA is maintaining the nameing convention; I have some of his/her other products and have been tempted. I might see if beautiful skin works as I wish first.
"Now with more Iray in every byte!"
See; now you want it, don't you?
