Creating Morph Targets for the new format figures used in D|S & Poser
Apologies if this has been asked before....and I'm sure it has....
I've got DAZ Studio 4.8 Pro, Poser 2010, Carrara 8.5 Pro, and Pegasus Modeler 2.0.
Which is the best program for creating morphs on the newer DS & Poser geometries (higher than the old .obj files) and what settings should I make for importing & exporting to/from the modeling programs so that I create just a morph target in such a way as to not cause catastrophic effects (such as explosive and/or gravitational speghettification results) when I apply the target to the figures? And how do I apply the resulting morph targets to the figures in DS & Poser? Or do I need some other modeler application to do this sort of thing?
If this question has been answered before, can you please direct me to the link? And if so, can we not put such information into a FAQ location?
Thanks in advance,
Ryuu

Oh, I also have Hexagon 2.5
You can still use good old obj files (unless you are using Zbrush or Hexagon which have bridges into daz). The Genesis and new figures are lower density than V4, so you don't have as much control over the details but that makes them light weight.
The settings you need will vary based on the tools used. For example scale and XYZ coordinates and such vary. Some programs change the vert order, which can cause issues. So again, settings will vary based on which tool you choose to create the morph in.
There are lots of tutorials for creating morphs and getting them working in Daz Studio.
http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/userguide/creating_content/modeling/tutorials/pbms/start

It 's not how they are made that's different it's how they are loaded and saved that's changed somewhat and how they are treated by Studio that's changed a lot.
