Fitting HELP (Super Hero Suit for Genesis 2 Male(s) and Michael 6)

I just bought some of smay's Super Hero gear & for some reason I can't get the suit to fit on my Actors correctly....Am I missing something?

I load a Gen2 or my Michael 6 then select the Suit/Mask and they look like this on my actors (Even the Gen2 female version one does this too)

How do I get the suit and mask to fit correctly?

  • I don't use Daz Studio. I use Carrara, but I've had the same issues with the Superhero suit. These rely very heavily on displacement maps which tend to move the suit outward from the figure. Make sure you have displacement turned on. Keep turning it up until it looks the way it should.

Select the suit and apply the Smoothing Modifier.  Edit>Figure>Geometry>Apply Smoothing Modifier

In the viewport you'll still see a bits of poke through, but it renders poke-free for me in 3Delight (shown) and Iray.

EDIT: Another method is apply the Push Modifier to the Suit instead.  Edit>Figure>Geometry>Add Push Modifier.  Then go to the Parameter Tab for the suit and adjust the Push Modifier setting from 1.00 to .10 (or the minimum amount to remove poke through).

  • Thanks to both!

After adjusting some settings & viewing the renders it does seem to render out much more acceptable now.

I'll just use the AUX Viewport for setting up this item now.

    Thanks again :)
