New Figure G3F Bones problem.

I have created a new figure morph for G3F and all looks good. Go to tool settings and joint editor to change the height of the bones and right click on bones and go to edit and adjust rigging to shape. This works well. Go to ERC Freeze and then save morph asset. No problems... new G3F and pull up morph and it moves into shape but the bones remain at the original height instead of the modifacation I made and saved... tried many times and still no success. Does any body have an update of how to save the rigging for G3F?

  • Are you manually adjsuting the bones or using Adjust Rigging to shape? You aren't memorising the rigging after adjusting?

  • Adjusting to shape and memorising... no avail :(

  • Just tried again... same deal... however if I dialed in Mei Lin, Josie 7 or Oylmpia after adjusting to shape and memorising then the rig would shrink to their size but if I took off the morph that I created to go back to G3F then the rigging stayed at the same instead of changing back. So after saving the morph again, pull in G3F and redial the morph... rig stays at G3F size.

  • Don't memorise - I was asking if you were doing it as it was a likely cause of the problem. ERC Freeze finds the ways in which current settings differ from the base state (zero for morphs and rotations/translations, 100% for Scale, the memorised positions for rigging) and links the changes to the morph - if you memorise the rigging then there are no changes and there's nothing to link to the morph.

  • Ok bashing by numbers... I scubbed everything and starting from scratch. Import Morph. setup parameters. Show in property heirachy. Adjust Rigging to shape with tick of Adjust Orientation and accept... So far good. Zero Morph and ERC Freeze... Ok Found out where I was going wrong.... I was unticking Restore Figure Rigging... This time I left it ticked and all works perfectly... Thank you Richard.
