The installer doesn't work.

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

When I downloaded the installer it would work it said error creating dirrectory /DAZ3D any answers?

    What operating system?

    Which program (Studio? Hexagon? Bryce?)?

    i used to dit it on my windows pc but it cracked now i use my macbook air

    That sounds like a permissions problem.  We've put in a call to one of the more experienced Mac users for help on this one.

    Did you download the Studio Installer or "DAZ Install Manager" to Install Studio?

    The Install Manager is a "little smarter".

    But the error error creating /DAZ3D suggests that you are installing to a bad place (or a bad error message from the BitRock installer)
    Are you installing to /Applications, and are you installing with a user that has sudo rights? (admin rights)?
