NGartplay - thank you.
Four terrains from Environment - Inclement Weather with materials from High Resolution Terrains 1 and 3. Sky and clouds taken over from Cloudscapes 2 and modified and the HDRI replaced by one of mine. The key light by the sun.
A fantastic start to 2025 Horo, beautiful scene
Thank you mermaid.
I wish all friends of Bryce a good start in a happy 2025!
I looked through and cleaned up my old material libraries on several external harddrives and then I was inspired to this image. The object is made with Bryce (Metaballs), the water is from the standard library DLD waters, the wood material is called Narrow Hardwood Plank mady by Curious3D and the sky is from a package called "Bryce Landscaping", but I can't remember where and when I got it.
Hansmar - Awesome renders - like the second abstract the most with the woman a close runner-up !
Mermaid - Gorgeous kaleidoscopes, first is my favourite !
Horo - Another exquisite landscape !
Electro-Elvis - Splendid Metaballs ! Thanks for the 2025 wish !
Welcome to 2025 everyone, may your renders look fantastic !
Sci-Fi scene - Terrain is Tectonics Evolved Vol.3 By Orestes, Building is SF Tower 2 by www.grafik-3d-portal.de, Sky is Afternoon Sun by DAZ3D, Spaceship by me.
Electro-Elvis - superb metaballs render.
Bunyip02 - thanks, lovely sci-fi scene.
Thanks Electro-Elvis and Bunyip02 for the New Year wish, hope the old members return this year and we see some new ones.
Electro-Elvis - nicely done metaball object and nicely presented with that wood material. Thank you for the 2025 wish.
Bunyip02 - thank you. Cool and well done Sci-Fi scene. Thank you also for the 2025 welcome.
The terrain ist from Environments - Inclement Weather with a modified material from Fifty Funky Shapes and Fifty Funky Metals. Sky and ambient light by the eso_Sky HDRI (HDRI generated from a photography by ESO/S.Brunier) and some specular by the sun. A golden rock found in our galaxy.
First of all: Best wishes for 2025 to everyone!
Horo, Mermaid010, NGartplay, Bunyip02: Thanks very much.
Mermaid010, Lovely kaleidoscopic renders again. I like the starry one most.
Horo, great terrains. I love the first one on this page best, partly due to the marvelous sky and clouds.
Electro-Elvis. Very nice 'blob'. With another texture, it could be an alien entity.
Very nice sci-fi scene, Bunyip02.
Hansmar - thank you. Also Best Wishes for 2025 to you.
Thanks Hansmar, best wishes to you too
Horo outstanding golden rock scene
Thank you mermaid.
Horo, the clouds in the first landscape are fabulous. Crazy texture on the second one...kind of lava-ish.
Elvis, really cool render. I think that I have that same material from Curious3D. They/he/she did a lot of excellent mats.
bunyip, very cool space scene. I really like the terrain it is on.
In the years I collected quite some items from e.g. DAZ and elsewhere. I decided to, now and again, just use one or two items in a render. Otherwise they are simply filling up my memory and that would be a waste. I now used the Anatomy Theatre, together with two skeletons from DAZ figures (I think Genesis, but I forgot). To lower the memory use, I modified several textures of the theatre into procedural textures. Several, luckily, were already simple colours, so did not require change. I used a sky from my files (from Karanta, I think) and several lights to light up the scene. I call it 'Forever love'.
NGartplay - thank you.
Hansmar - very nicely done.
The chess-men are from the Poser Chess Set (once available at Daz 3D) given my own material, the chessboard was self made. The table is from the L-XV Furniture Pack. Background and ambient light by an HDRI from the 3 High Resolution HDRI Set 1 and some light and specular by the sun.
Bunyip02, Horo, mermaid010, Hansmar, NGartplay: Thank you
Hansmar: I collected the Anatomy Theatre as well, but my results with it where never as good as yours. Well done.
Horo: Excellent presented and lit chess board.
The base for my cliff scene was a terrain called Lower West Side from MatCreator's package Terra-Tropolis. The grass in the foreground is procedural grass. The doves are Bryce objects which I made by myself. The light comes from the Bryce sun and IBL was used to brighten up the shadow areas. The rock or cliff consists of fiveterrains.
Edit 6th January: I replaced the first image with a version with a brighter shadow.
Thank you Electro-Elvis. Very nicely done scene.
Thank you, Horo.
BTW I was wondering why the inserted image is of slightly lower quality than the attached image. The image size I specified is correct.
Originally made in Bryce 5.5 in 2006
Later created the sketch like version in v7 in 2013.
Hansmar - cool scene, their love is forever, very nicely done, nice lighting.
Horo - nicely presented chess board, the lighting is awesome.
Electro-Elvis - superb scene
Saurabh.gayali - welcome to the forum, nice examples, pity they are so compressed and blurry.

Mermaid010, thank you.
saurabh.gayali - welcome to the Bryce forum. Two nicely done objects.
mermaid and Hansmar - thank you.
The terrain is from Environments - Inclement Weather with a material assembled from High Resolution Terrains 2 and Terrain Stacking. The castle and the moon were self made. Sky by the CloudSphere6 and the ambient light by the belonging HDRI from the Sky Toolbox, the key light by the sun.
G reat scene Horo, i like how you placed the moon.
Mermaid - Thanks !
Horo - Thanks ! Great Terrain ! Glorious Chess scene !
Hansmar - Thanks ! Best wishes to you as well ! Delightful skeleton render ! Like you have quite a collection of 3D models to choose from, was doing a render a day until a while ago to use them up !
NGartplay - Thanks !
Electro-Elvis - Stunning Cliff scene !
Saurabh.gayali - Splendid Abstracts ! Hope to see more of your renders !
Thank you mermaid and Bunyip02.
Horo, fantastic terrain render.
Bunyip02, thanks. Using what you gathered is indeed a good idea.
Thank you Hansmar.
The object was made with Structure Synth and given a self made material. Background and light by an HDRI from Hyper Textures Base, additionally a bit of light and negative specular by the sun. Frames rotated by 30° within a cube frame.
Beautiful result Horo
