DAZ support is dead?

I have two support tickets opened. And today my friend told me that he had unanswered ticket for two years! Is support staff doing their job? Or everyne are focused on nft and avatars?

Sales support (refunds and such) seems to be alive, but technical support might be on life support or in a coma, perhaps. I hope not, but that is the impression I get. Yes, I have tickets that are years old, too. Problems get sent to the "Bug Tracker" and nothing happens after that, most of the time. Sometimes the system will just close tickets without anything being fixed, and they mark them "solved". But once, after 3 years, a bug in a product was actually fixed! Of course the product was pretty obsolete by that time, so the benefit was minimal.
Here is my thread on my current experience with customer service. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/650656/what-can-be-done-when-help-requests-get-no-cs-response#latest

...I stopped submitting technical bug tickets a while agoand instead looked for help on a situation using Google.to guide me to forum discussions here and on other sites where there is a Daz group like Reddit.

Ever since they dropped the old bug reporting service, there is no way to track the progress of a ticket or sign onto one that has been filed on the same or a related matter (which gave it more clout). Now it feels your technical concern ends up in what's referred to as a "digital black hole".

Basically we need to depend on our community for help

  • So far I have been able to find all the answers to my questions here in the forum (best forum ever). laugh
