Major Lag when posing?

Hi all, I have a very solid system, 2 X Quad core CPU, 32 Gig RAM, 2 X mirrored Harddrives etc... 

I am running DAZ 4.8

I have been experiancing major lag when posing even with a single charchter loaded in a scene, using power poser i can see 3-5 seconds after i drag a body part before it moves, same or even worse when trying to use teh dials like bend, side to side etc... 

Are ther esettign I can look at taht would help solve this? It seems to have happend slowly over time an dnow its unuseable to pose a figure...  G3/V7 seems worse than G2 but both are pretty aweful 

I have DAZ on an older system with half the ram and CPU and do not see this issue...

Which renderer...3Delight or Iray?

Are you using Iray for the viewport?

What about your video card?

I have 2 GTX Titans in thsi system, 1 in teh older system, I useOctane but why would render engine matter when posing? The lag is when posing

Also this did nto happen at all when i did the install and used daz for a few months, that why i think maybe some configuration perhaps i clicked by accident?

Hi,, which shade style you use for view port?  I must change view port render from NVidia iray to another when set poze or apply shape etc.

simply it just kill many time without you need test render by iray. (there is some way to reduce problem, I learn, but after all, you may need not

iray interactive render for 3d view.  it is almost same, about  if you try aux view port.

Even though you set render engine as 3delgith in render setting, if you set veiw port render as Nvidia, (it seems default of ds 4.8)

the intereactive mode of iray seems used for 3d view port render, I think.

or if you set smooth modifier?  (thoughI do not think so,,)
