Forgot to mention that I break all the software.
Looked it up, trying again.
Just do as the error message tells, you need to export the dbz from daz studio first. It is quite common that you "break all the software" without reading some basic instructions first.

Yeah, I did, but it didn't work. So, I'll uninstall, reinstall, and try it again.
(I've already restarted... sometimes that works ;) )
The dbz has to be in the same folder and have the same name as the duf, that's the default if you save the daz scene first. There's nothing else that can go wrong with this.
Uninstalled everything, reinstalled everything. Got it working, finally! :)
(Aside from some texture issues - I'll post about that separately.)
"It is quite common that you "break all the software" without reading some basic instructions first."
Breaking includes documentation.
The installation information needs cleanup in instances where it provides incomplete or outdated written directions, such as:
"Copy or link the Scripts folder to one of the DAZ Studio directories."
So - I read these "basic instructions", and guess what I did?
The image provided below the example could be interpreted (as I did) as a suggestion of one of these directories.
Of course, copying into "one of the directories" isn't the same thing as copying into a specific directory, which seems to be what's actually required.
Coincidentally, the updated files were available yesterday (also referenced as an older version in the instructions, and linked to same), but, luckily, I found and installed the updated versions.
