And for maximum Oso... here they are!

Lots of flexibility and options, including partial fur coverage for more hybrid looking creatures.

I will note Oso Bear mixes rather nicely with https://www.daz3d.com/nikolai-9-hd

The head and body are separate (as are the claws), and there are presets to add 'dark nose/eyes' to other skins.

The fur has two main options, one coat and two coat.

One coat is, well, one coat of fur; it's good for medium to long shots.

Two coat option has an Undercoat and Strays layer.

The Undercoat uses 'less fidelity': wider hairs with fewer numbers, filling in the bulk of the body.
The Strays are very fine hairs concentrated on the hands, feet and face. This allows very life-like detail where chunkier hair would look strange, particularly in close-ups.

The two coat approach allows for a lot of detail without as much of a render hit as just making all the fur high quality; the bulk of the body doesn't need it. But hey, if you have a really souped up machine, you can just use One Coat and use really high quality settings.

If you want to make your own fur colors, it shouldn't be hard to look at the existing fur colors as a template.

  • Another great product from you, Oso! I especially enjoy how you've really broken up the figure into parts, so that it will be usable even if you don't want to do a bear character.

I also LOVE the base skin of the bear, useful for ALL kinds of furred creatures.
