Importing from Blender to Daz3D and my boolean operation is gone...

in New Users
Trying to do something very simple. I made a wall from a stretched cube and punched a hole through it with a cylinder. It shows up fine in Blender, but when I try to export it (with Apply Modifiers ticked on) and then import it into Daz, all I get is a solid wall.
Would anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks for your help!

Reimport the obj to blender to see if you see it correctly. Also, if it does, can you please show a wireframe of the obj? Show all of the Blender UI.
DS doesnt like n-gons (polygons with more than 4 points) which boolean cuts usually produce. If you have some option in Blender like "triangulate n-gons" use it before exporting.
There is a Triangulate option on export...and several ways of punching a hole into a cube without creating n-gons in the first place.
The Apply Modifier in export options doesn't work with all modifiers. Apply the modifier manually then clean up the resulting mess (and no that isn't a typo, booleans are a horrible way model as they leave a mangled topology).
