morphing body parts (pinching, indents, etc)

While Daz is all fine and good I am having some severe issues in getting to morph the Gen2/3 mesh when it comes to pressing into the skin (denting??) I know there is the dformer but that tool is extremely unrobust especially when it comes to detail work. I cannot afford zBrush so I was wandering if there is any other way of getting this to work without spending a lot of $$$.

  • Is the detail you want to add smaller than the basic mesh (switch to Wire Sahded or Hidden line drawstyle and look at the solid lines - the only things a morph can affect are the places those cross). Sculptris and Blender are both free and allow morph creation. If you do need finer detail you ned to create displacement maps.
