Riversoft -- Question on Smart Collections

I love Smart Collections, which I bought recently. I've been using it with some projects, including with collecting presets in my Content folder. (As opposed to Smart Content, which is my go-to). It has worked really well. But when I attempted to make collections from items bought at another store, I could select those items but when I'd bring up the Smart Collection's script and choose either ADD PRESETS or COLLECT in a new collection, the main script box never comes up. I'm attaching the log file.

The selected item(s) need to have metadata... Product from 3rd-parties can be installed by using Content Wizard...
