Does anyone know the source of the green structure in this promo?

I thought it might be this, but I can't reproduce it.

Since this image was post-render processed it could be layered into the scene from an image.

Not the product but it might work for you.

Thanks, @hjake, I have that, but even with shaders the hard right angles (lack of beveling) loses the illusion. I'm looking for that Brooklyn train bridge feeling, but the ones I've found elsewhere are editorial only.

I think it's quite possibly a photo in the background too

I thought it might be this, but I was wrong. I swear I saw that somewhere before.

    spot on!!!  great detective work!!!

  • We could do with something like the Brooklyn Train Bridge as a model. It would be very evocative for a wide range of purposes, from historical to steam punk to noir to modern. Interesting idea. Regards, Richard.

I KNEW I owned that, just took a while to remember who made it and what it's called.  It's part of a set called IN Elevated Subway by Winston1984 over at renderosity https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/44607/in-elevated-subway .  It's not shown from underneath in any of the promo images, but I'll pop up a render in a few minutes.  It's a nice little a modular piece that can be stacked end to end to form as long an L as you want.  I'm also suspect that some of the buildings in that promo are the wraparound city-cyclorama from the same set.

Here's a quick and dirty render showing both sides of the Winstonn1984 prop.  Definitely the same item.

Oh, and by the way, the same artist also included a completely different bridege segment with another product IN ROAD HOG SEMI TRUCK at Rendo https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/74214/in-roadhog-semi-truck  , this one a link for building longer bridges for 4 lanes of auto/truck traffic.

Thanks, @Cybersox! Last night, I was looking at those promos at Rendo. I have that and the truck; so, all I have to do is load it up and Uber Iray convert it. Like you, I own just about everything I could even think of needing, but it's been so long since I used either one of those that I missed it. Thanks so much for sleuthing.

That is So Funny!!! That's what I thought it was too, but couldn't see the underside of the bridge in any of the promos! LOL

IN-Elevated Subway include a gorgeous 360 scenery globe. Do you know of the IN-Roag Hog does too? The ones that come with the IN Elfen Skyship are freaking Awesome!!! A lot of Winnston1984's products do come with them. I also have Wave Cutter, which I really like.

...and I have a strong feeling that the city seen in that petipet promo is from the same IN-Elevated Subway as well

Both of the RoadHog products come with scenery wraps.  The truck has a cityscape as seen from a bridge and the motorcycle has a desert environment... I own a half dozenother WInnston products, including the Waverider, and scenery wraps are also included with the Fantasy River Cottage and the Woodland Stream, which also includes a multi-frame animated water texture for Poser renders.

It was no problem.  I knew I had it somewhere as soon as I read the post, so it was just a matter of figuring out what it was packed with.   The only catch was that I've bought a lot of train/subway/roadway/bridge sets over the years and PAs have a habit of giving them names that really don't describe the actual content.

  • Both products would benefit with more promo images of what is included

Yeah, but you went the extra mile, gave me renders, added info and links. It's this kind of service that keeps this community alive. Thanks again.

I couldn't remember Winnston1984's name either, but I knew he did the SkeeterDemon---though I could only remember "Skeeter," and Rendo's search turned up zero results for that; so, I had to search my product list for his vendor name, and voila! I wish Daz's Product Library had vendor names or really any search criterion more than product name.
