can't render michael 6 with iray

HI

Apologies for this question from a beginner but I am completely unable to render Michael 6 with the NVIDIA Iray setting. The render screen is completely empty and rendering stops after about 17 seconds (even after rebooting the computer)  I am able to render Michael 6 with 3Delight and Victoria 7 using both the  NVIDIA Iray and 3Delight settings.

Could anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong

Using the same settings other than Render Engine? What are your Iray render settings? If you click the defaults button in Render Settings will the render work? What settings do you have for the Michael 6 figure in the parameters pane under Display and Mesh Resolution?
