I like it but I would have her look away to the right and a bit downwards and a shy closed smile, away from the text, and her gripping the tea cup saucer and reaching out as if preparing to hand it to the restaurant guest as a formal presentation. I would angle up the camera vista enough such that it was able to record just over the rim of the tea cup. I would have a waft of steam coming from the tea cup.

Even if you disagree with that I would work on the pose you have her hand in and it's not really not posed in a manner that looks balanced. I saw the scene in your clip. Try a camera angle that's higher to see if maybe it looks less awkward. Well, awkward in my view at least.

I like the music played in your YouTube clip. Watching it, I would use for the album jacket the lady walking in the blue dress with starry stockings or the lady seated in red with the tea service. Those two are more eye catching in my eye.

Finally, because I like that music clip and the sound makes me feel like 'this', maybe a album jacket in an outdoor scene with snow cover in winter in a thermal pool like those famous Japanese monkeys but use a lady instead with strategically wafting steam. Use DAZ Studio volumetrics.

  • All your comments are valid. Thanks for your suggestions. Just to note, this one and the red scene are an homage to Coles Philips and His Fade-Away Girl. I was staying a bit faithful to the original spirit to the design.   Most of the clips were done at a breakneck pace by myself (after my real job) soI don't have too much time to make each one perfect.  The Cover for the Album is already set. You can see it on my website page.  https://www.chrisshort.com/beautiful-sadness

These are more of a creative outlet to draw attention and to have some fun with Daz in the process.

Oh yes, you are close with that and with that pose it looks fine, but if you can't change it anymore, you can't change it.

  • No problem! I will be dropping more short animations as the promotion continues. Let me know what you think of the music as well!

OK, I will listen to what is posted on YT tomorrow. I thought you only had uploaded the one short advertising clip, but I see you have more in other sections. It wasn't so obvious thought from the playlist names.

  • That is a good observation. I have since changed the titles of the playlist. Thanks!

I like in the 3 sections best:

    Muz Lee - I want 2 Believe.

    Marko - Lost (only option)

    bina - Shadow

My favorite of those is Shadow, although truth be told I wouldn't bother rolling up my car windows on any of them if they were playing in another car like I do sometimes here in town. laugh Yes, I find these listenable.

  • Thanks for your comments! It is really helpful. Truth be told, Shadow is far better than you realize. The whole start of the song is a powerful ballad that builds up to the part you heard.  I feel all the songs that is on the album are basically hits, but hey I'm biased! wink  Here is my Spotify Page: https://open.spotify.com/artist/2Ao0lFlpt9sTxo3XxXdIzl?si=52v3t8qoQYaRxe6uE9TiFw

The first release will be on January 4 2024
