I purchased dynamic sheets, but how do you get the sheets to hug the body that it is laying over?

You need to use the dynamic tool and drape it; the free version should work, but the paid version offers more functionality.

Window > Pane Tabs > Dynamic Clothing

I found the Dynamic clothing tool but when I try to drape it over a figure laying on a bed it drapes the bed but it does not drape the figure! What am I doing wrong?

You need to make sure that the both the bed and the figure are set as collision objects in the 'Collide with' button in the Dynamic Cloth tab.

Also, sometimes if a lot of items, then made sure some are unchecked; if you can uncheck hair, as it can make drapes look weird.

  • Also also, it's possible to overload the collision routines if you have too many things selected that are so far apart they can't possibly collide with your cloth. When that happens, it'll start falling through things. Always run through your "Collide With" list carefully before running a drape, and deselect as much as you can. Fingers/hands and toes/feet are a good example; if there's any way they can be left out of the drape, do it.

A trick, for feet under a sheet...put a pair of stockings/socks/ bodysuit on the character and collide with that, instead of the character.
