DIM help + forum search issue

Due to life I haven't used DS/Poser in quite awhile and my head is out of the game. I had started using DIM previously but there are a few things I forget. Once the files are installed, do they update for you? I know before you always had to reinstall updates. I'm not sure if they will show up in install or I need to do something.

Also, apparently I haven't used the forum in way too long. Isn't there some kind of advanced search? I apologize I feel like my brain is scrambled today. I search and it picks up each word, I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, but I'm not finding how to tell it which forum to search, etc. or I probably could have found answers to my questions. I know there has to be settings somewhere. I search "DIM" and I get words containing those letters. I'm doing something stupid! Lol

 Once the files are installed, do they update for you?

They will appear in DIM as Product Updates in the Ready to Download tab.   You still have to tick their boxes to install them.   There is also an option to 'Install to Respective 'Installed' Paths'  in the Settings pane (Gear icon) that will install any updates to where they were originally installed.   You can also change that behaviour if you need to.
