Scene duf file just vanished over night.

I findished working on a scene last nite. I saved and quit the program.

To day...the duf file is just gone from my computer..not in the scene folder...not in any file search.

the duf's png file is there where it should be...but the duf? It's gone.

    Can you just create a file maybe with notepad, rename the extension duf then rightclick properties restore earlier version?

    No the whole file is gone..just missing.

    All that's left from a full file system search is the preview png..the icon that would show up in scenes..the file itself is just poof.

    Do you have anything set to automatically scan...either a whole disk scan for malware or some sort of file clean up tool?

    Points at signature...that kind of stuff just really doesn't happen in the mac world. I'll do a big drive scan for malfunctions..i guess user error..as in somehow I deleted it..is possible...but I don't think I'vebeen in that folder all day..
