  • I am pretty sure it does, I use them wink

  • bit off topic but playing with my statue I discovered something I did not know you could do with carrara rigging

you can add bones without detaching skeleton to a figure that become attached to clothing attached to it along with the skeleton

so I can add movers for sleeves etc

  • In my experience mip-mapping doesn't really help render times and I think the over-all result looks like crap, so I always, always, always change it. Others, may have different results and opinions, and that is cool, but I am not a fan.

    Impressive.

...and, Roygee... you're welcome, my friend! ;)

As a report, I have made progress on this model, but had to pause due to sudden issues on gun control (which are reported on Yofiel, in case you are interested), but I have expanded the model significantly and have a list of planned improvements on issues I think really need fixing. Here is one picture.

Wow - that's some expansion, to model the whole district! Very impressive. I have happy memories of my visits there, I have been fortunate enough to have visited three times. Here's a picture I took towards St Peter's from the top of Castle St Angelo.

Just as an update, here is the current status of this model. It now contains about 50 buildings.

And here is a detial of the Pigna courtyard, which shows the general status of the texture quality This is a very large scene, and I am not quite sure how to focus further effort.
