So this morning I was offered Baby Tobyn in my Advent options. I'm so happy! Been making adjustments to make him my own . heart Original Baby Tobyn on the right, my baby on the left. Now, I just need to find him some cute clothes! smiley Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for looking!

    Thanks, Charlie! smiley

  • It isn't cheap, but I found that the baby add-ons in Mechasar's recent bundle really helped:

Your baby is definitely an improvement over Tobyn.

... and especially with a more reasonably proportional head size, IMO.

laugh Thanks, barbult and crosswind! heart I'm still tweaking, but it's a challenge becuase I don't really have much for my Genesis 8 figures yet. I have some of the morphs, but no other character shapes other than creatures.LOL I am happy to have a baby, though!

Not that you haven't done a great job so far - just tossing it out there as a cool thing I ran across. smiley

Here's how things are progressing, though.... I'll probabally never be "done". Ha! smiley

  • Your baby is a huge improvement on the default (in my opinion). I didn't get the baby initially because I just didn't like it. I only picked it up after I got Mechasar's addon pack for a crazy low price.

Thanks, sazzyazzca! smiley I have two versions now.LOL But my second is a little cross-eyed I see now... gonna have to correct that. LOL Thanks everyone for the encouragement! heart

The trouble I always had with Tobyn and Caryn was that as good as they are, they tend to look more like rubber baby dolls than realistic babies, especially if paired with an adult or child character that is more realistic. Close enough to work, but somewhat off in terms of the hard rolls of fat and odd-shaped heads. Yours is such a nice improvement. Well done!

I don't think I've ever used Caryn or Tobyn as-is. Small World is indispensable if you're going to render babies.

  • Thank you Gordig! Very helpful to know!! smiley
