Solved - Material Preset Questions

Hi! So I have been playing around with IRAY shaders and am trying to create my own shader/material preset for a Genesis 8 Character but when I save the material preset it doesn't save the "body" materials for some reason. I've checked and the body is selected when I save and I don't know what I could be doing wrong. Anyone else encounter this? What do I do?

What does it save?
Everything except the body (torso) and the back of the head
Sounds like you are applying a G8 preset to G8.1 . The difference in UVs between the two is the body vs torso naming and the neck area
Okay.... but this confuses me because all I have done is adjust the shader settings to the existing texture, then tried to save it as a material preset, but it doesn't save the torso or back of the head.
What am I not understanding? I adjusted the material settings myself. I didn't apply any "shader". Just adjusted what was already there

Okay, so I do notice something different in the tabs from one part to the other, but I don't know enough to know what is going on. The material preset DOES seem to apply to the character I began making adjustments, apparently. But not to the original character. However I notice that the face and body parts have different options available and I don' t understand why. The body has space to add a map but the face parameter does not, but I don't understand why or how to change it.
Thanks, FSMCD! I didn;t understand what yu were telling me at first...
But, what I did was BEGIN with Genesis 8.1 male and dialed my character using the 8.0 shape... not understanding or realizing what that meant. BUT because of your input and some digging around on my own, I now understand and was able to fix it! Thank you!
